Ambar Mendez has been with the BCSR since 2014, and is currently a Research Project Coordinator for the Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS) studies. Ms. Mendez provides support to the Maternal and Child Health Unit by ensuring that project goals and response rates are met in a timely manner. Her responsibilities include ensuring high quality data collection, training and supervising interviewing staff, administering surveys, and certifying project activities comply with state protocols. Fluent in Spanish, Ms. Mendez plays a key role in PRAMS’ outreach efforts to the Spanish-speaking participants by responding to all inquiries and administering surveys. Ms.  Mendez received her B.S in Public Health from Rutgers University in 2017.
