Outreach and service is a core value of the Center. Center staff have taught courses in research methodology and made public presentations to a wide variety of audiences. Senior fellow Cliff Zukin is the former President of AAPOR (American Association for Public Opinion Research) representing more than 1,700 researchers in government, academia and the private sector.

Center staff have also written articles for scholarly journals and mass media, presented papers at professional conferences, and given presentations to government officials, university research classes, and business associations on the proper use of survey research. The staff is also available to media for comment on issues related to survey research and the impact of policy on public opinion.
